Rhee Taekwon-do in the Community
Rhee Taekwon-do remains a traditional, family orientated martial art
Rhee Taekwon-do remains a traditional, family orientated martial art, and as such, we wish to share our Art with the community as often as possible.
We, as a strong, growing organization in the community, try to provide as much as we can to our region.
We have many training centres which operate through all nights of the week, we participate in many community events, such as fundraisers, festivals, school fetes and fairs, and we often conduct Open Days, where members of the public are invited to watch demonstrations of how a normal class would run, or even join in!
We also communicate with local schools and sporting clubs, running training sessions with many different groups, to bring a different view on fitness, flexibility and self-defence to their regular training programs.
Football teams, netball teams, scouts and guides, even roller derby teams enjoy a unique, fun session with the instructors and leaders of Rhee Taekwon-do. This kind of ‘cross-over’ training is always fun, but can be of real benefit to teams fitness, knowledge and point of view!
