Can I try Rhee Taekwon-Do Free?

Can I come along to watch a class?
Yes, of course.
What should I wear / bring to my first lesson?
Tracksuit pants and a t-shirt, shoes for travel but we train in bare feet. Bring a water bottle.
When should I arrive at class?
Arrive 10 or 15 minutes before the start and introduce yourself to the instructor.
What are the chances of injury?
Training takes place in a fun, safe, controlled environment. All training takes place under the watchful eyes of the instructors and leaders, so the chance of injury is minimised.
What does a typical class consist of?
Every class is very different from the next, although you can be sure to receive a good physical workout, flexibility training, focused pad/impact training, and sparring (simulated defence), all while working to improve the technical aspects of the Art.
What if I’m out of shape?
We expect your physical ability will increase over time, so you certainly don’t need to be ‘fit’ to train, rather you join the class to increase your fitness level!
What if I have a pre-existing medical condition or injury?
Training in Rhee Taekwon-do is very individual, all members learn in a similar environment regardless of their own limitations. We believe self defence training is necessary for everyone, and we all learn to adapt to our own capabilities
